Welcome to the MultimediaField module

The MultiMedia field is the extension of image field. It has become possible now to insert and view multimedia content in image fields (Flash, QuickTime, Real Player, Windows Movies). Supported multimedia formats:

1. Flash objects: swf-files,
   
2. Flash video: flv-files,
   
3. Windows Media video: wmv-files,
   
4. QuickTime video: mov-, qt-files,
   
5. Audio Video Interleave: avi-files,
   
6. Moving Picture Experts Group : mpeg-files,
   
7. Real video: rm-files,
   
8. Audio: mp3-, wma-, ogg-files
   

MultiMedia field is easy configurable and extensible.

Note: to play Flash and Flash video end-user has to have Adobe plug-in installed, to play wmv – Silverlight plug-in, the same with Windows Media Player, QuickTime and Real Player.

Note: the control renders HTML according to “XHTML 1.0 Transitional” doctype.
