Welcome to the IndexViewer

The IndexViewer is a Sitecore integrated Lucene index browser. It allows you to open an index defined in the web.config. You can see information about the index (last updated, number of documents etc.), browse the documents in the index and see the content and last but not least it allows you to search the index using different Lucene Queries.

The initial idea and implementation was made by Jens Mikkelsen of Pentia A/S ( blog).

Vyacheslav Tronko has implemented the new features in release 1.2. Thanks for his great contributions.

For instructions on how to check out a working copy please see the user guide on the  Sitecore Developer Network.

Use this URL in your repository browser when you want to checkout the source code:
